Enabling Two-Factor authentication is an important step to securing your BitLaunch account. With it, you will need to enter unique, time-sensitive code every time you login. This adds an additional layer of protection for your servers. The small tradeoff between convenience and security is always worth it.

Get a Two-Factor Authentication Client

There are a few ways to get started with Two-Factor Authentication. The easiest is to download an app on your mobile device to generate codes. One linked to your BitLaunch account, the app will display a rotating set of codes. For this example, we will use LastPass Authenticator, but you are free to choose whichever client that you wish. For an easy to use desktop Two-Factor Authentication client - the majority of popular password managers all offer 2FA authentication by default.

Enable Two-Factor Authentication for your Account

Head over to the account section by clicking the cog icon in the top right of the BitLaunch dashboard.

Secondly, click "Enable Two-Factor Authentication".

A QR Code will appear. Simply scan this QR code with your authenticator app. Once you have linked your authenticator app to your BitLaunch account, enter the unique rotating code that your app provides and click enable to add Two-Factor Authentication to your account.

That's all there is to it. You will be asked for this unique code on each login to BitLaunch

What if I've lost my Two-Factor Authentication device?

It's important to know that losing your device where you have registered your 2FA means losing access to your accounts. If you have lost access to your 2FA device, please contact support.
